Scholarships for November at UNCF

UNCF offers several national scholarships that close in November. Apply today!

UNCF offers great scholarships in November—plenty of opportunities to be thankful for! Scholarships and internships are open for applications. Look at some of the opportunities UNCF offers high school and college students that can help them get to and through college. Visit any time to see what is open and complete the applications before the offers close.

Remember: Complete all steps for the applications!
You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.


HBCU Alliance Partners Scholarship Program
The HBCU Alliance Partners Scholarship Program is open to freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, who attend an HBCU. Closes Nov. 4.

Renee Starks Steed Memorial Scholarship
The program is open to current sophomores, juniors, or seniors studying Design, Fashion Design, Retail or Retail Management, and who attend an HBCU. Closes Nov. 4.

The Stella Jones and John Scott Endowed Art Scholarship Fund
The scholarship is open to Arts and non-Arts students at Dillard University, Southern University at New Orleans, and Xavier University of Louisiana. Closes Nov 5.

BASF/Alfred Chisholm Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship is available to sophomore, junior and senior students enrolled at HBCUs. Relatives or sponsored students of BASF employees are strongly encouraged to apply. In addition, students at North Carolina A&T State University and Southern University and A&M College are also strongly encouraged to apply. Closes Nov. 8.

Liberty Mutual Insurance LEADA@Liberty Scholarship (Massachusetts)
The program is open to students of African American descent enrolled in Massachusetts’ Commonwealth Commitment program. Closes Nov. 12.

Nissan Scholars Program
The scholarships will be awarded to 2 students attending Fisk University and 2 attending Tennessee State University. The awardees will also be offered an internship during the summer of 2020 at Nissan. Closes Nov. 13.

UNCF-Anthem Corporate Scholars Program
The scholarships, as well as internships, are open to juniors and seniors of color, who are studying business or health care fields. Closes Nov. 15.

Houston Youth Gala 2019 Scholarship (Texas)
Applicants must be permanent residents of Houston and have confirmed attendance at the 2019 Youth Gala. Closes Nov. 20.

Ahmanson Foundation Scholarship (California)
The program is open to undergraduate or graduate students at UNCF-member schools who are from the greater Los Angeles, California area. Closes Nov. 26

Jack and Jill – Jacqueline Moore Bowles Scholarship
These need-based scholarships will be awarded to returning Communications majors who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited, post secondary institution, and who will begin their junior or senior in the fall of 2019. Closes Nov. 26.

Cooper Industries
Engineering and business students at accredited 4-year colleges and universities for the 2019-20 academic year are eligible. Closes Nov. 28.

UNCF-Member Institution Miles College

Intel Scholarship
Students must bee full time college juniors, seniors or graduates (MS and/or Ph.D) attending any four-year accredited college or university at the time of application, who are studying Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Closes Dec. 31.

PayPal Internship
The program is for undergraduate and graduate students to apply for a paid internships starting in June 2020.  The students’ resumes should include experience in web development, in Java and Java Script programming languages (for software engineering applicants), or provide information on related projects or internships. Closes March 2, 2020.
