Scholarships for May at UNCF
May is graduation month, but undergrads can prepare for next year by applying for great scholarships! Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. Look at some of the opportunities UNCF offers high school and college students that can help them get to and through college. Visit UNCF.org/Scholarships any time to see what is open.

You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.
Montgomery County Scholarship (Ohio)
The scholarship is open to high school seniors, who are permanent residents of Montgomery County, OH and who are planning to attend an HBCU or any other accredited college or university. Closes May 3.
Northwest Indiana Scholarship Program (Indiana)
The program provides up to $5,000 need-based scholarship awards to selected applicants from Lake, LaPorte and Porter Counties. Closes May 10.
Isabelle Gaines Scholarship Program (Virginia)
This program is open to college freshman, sophomore and juniors from Essex County High School in Tappahannock, VA, majoring in Art, Education, Business, History, STEM or related-major, and attending a UNCF-member institution or an HBCU. Closes May 10.
Dallas Independent School District Scholarship (Texas)
Applicants must be Spring 2019 Dallas ISD graduating seniors, who will be enrolled full time at any four-year college or university. Closes May 13.
Margie H. Verbal Emergency Scholarship Fund (North Carolina)
The fund is designed to assist graduating seniors enrolled in a UNCF-member institution located in North Carolina (with preference given to students attending Shaw University), who experience emergency financial need to graduate in Spring 2019. Closes May 14.
SUEZ Corporate Scholars Program
This is a summer internship and scholarship program, open to college sophomores or juniors, majoring in specific fields. The internships will be in New York State and New Jersey. Closes May 15.
Oracle Academy Scholarship
The scholarship is for Computer Science majors or graduate students who meet the criteria. Closes May 17.
The Nevada-UNCF Scholarship (Nevada)
This needs-based program is open to permanent residents of the metropolitan Las Vegas region. Closes May 17.
Seminoles Scholars Program (Florida)
The program is available to high school seniors or graduates with residence in Seminole County, FL. Closes May 20.
JUST ADDED: American Express Developer Academy
The program, open to seniors or grads in specific majors, offers vital technology training, powered by General Assembly, ultimately leading to a role as a junior full-stack engineer within American Express. Closes May 24.
William L. and Mary Ann Brown STEM Scholarship Program (North Carolina)
The program provides a renewable scholarship to graduating high school seniors attending a high school in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, who plan to major in and pursue a career in the STEM field. Closes May 24.
Foot Locker Foundation, Inc-UNCF Scholarship
Foot Locker Foundation, Inc. has partnered with UNCF to fund this scholarship program for students attending a UNCF-member institution during the fall of 2019. All undergraduate classifications will be considered. Closes May 31.

Magic City Classic Scholarship (Alabama)
The scholarship is open to sophomores and juniors attending Alabama State University or Alabama A&M University. Closes June 7.
RICOH Scholarship Program
The program is open to current college sophomore and junior students of color attending HBCUs, who are majoring in specific fields. Closes June 14.
PepsiCo Foundation-UNCF Bronx Women’s Initiative (New York)
The program is open to female students from the Bronx, NY, with demonstrated, unmet financial need that can be verified by their attending college or university. Students should be actively involved in community service. Closes June 28.
