Scholarships for June 2019 at UNCF
Even though the school year is nearly over, the time is perfect to start planning for the next year. Scholarships and internships are open for applications. Look at some of the opportunities UNCF offers high school and college students that can help them get to and through college. Visit UNCF.org/Scholarships any time to see what is open and complete the applications before the offers close.
Remember: Complete all steps for the applications!
You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.
Magic City Classic Scholarship (Alabama)
The scholarship is open to sophomores and juniors attending Alabama State University or Alabama A&M University. Closes June 7.
RICOH Scholarship Program
The program is open to current college sophomore and junior students of color attending HBCUs, who are majoring in specific fields. Closes June 14.
Northern Ohio Scholarship (Ohio)
UNCF Northern Ohio Inter-Alumni Council, with the support of the Cleveland Council of Black Colleges Alumni Association offer the scholarship to current high school seniors, and college freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors who are permanent residents of northern Ohio, particularly students from Shaw High School East in Cleveland. Closes June 21.
PepsiCo Foundation-UNCF Bronx Women’s Initiative (New York)
The program is open to female students from the Bronx, NY, with demonstrated, unmet financial need that can be verified by their attending college or university. Students should be actively involved in community service. Closes June 28.

Panda Cares/UNCF Scholars Program
Graduating high school seniors in qualifying states can be awarded up to $2,500 per academic year. Closes July 20.

Provided by the Fund II Foundation, internX helps students get first access to paid internship opportunities from many top companies.
