Renetta Ethridge Holloway is currently serving as Development Director for UNCF’s Philadelphia region. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Advancement for Pendle Hill, a Quaker Study, Retreat and Conference Center, located in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. In this role, she was a member of the leadership team, responsible for the strategic planning and coordination of all fund raising and marketing initiatives. Her focus was on Major Gifts and Capital Campaigns, and oversight of the advancement team for this community building organization.
Holloway has over 30 years of fund raising experience, most of it with United Way, focusing on Corporate and Foundation Giving, Leadership and Major Giving, Workplace Campaigns, Volunteer Management and Recruitment, and Donor Engagement. Providing oversight to development teams raising more than $25-50 million dollars annually. Before joining United Way, she held other fund-raising positions with three Pennsylvania Councils of Girl Scouts, USA.
She is active in various community service capacities, including the Girard College Girl’s Mentoring Program, Springfield Township Foundation, Grace Epiphany Episcopal Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Omega Omega Chapter and The Links, Incorporated. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
Holloway is a native of Charlotte, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree upon graduation from North Carolina Central University–an HBCU–in Durham, NC. She is a member of North Carolina Central University Alumni Association.
