Update: VIRTUAL Walk for Education-Houston

UNCF Houston could not hold its annual walk/run at Tom Bass Park this year, due to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Instead, we took action and have created the Virtual Walk for Education.

The UNCF Virtual Walk for Education is a great way to continue uniting this community and the nation. Help us galvanize the community by encouraging others to participate.

Challenge your co-workers, family and friends! Take a leisurely stroll, walk or run during your lunch break at your desired location. You have until October 14 to make your walk count! Post your photos, video and Fitbit steps on social media by using #LaceUp4UNCFHouston.

Participants can show their solidarity with the community by walking for this important cause. Local businesses, schools, churches, and colleges can get involved by having a campus walk.

Because this is a virtual walk, any supporters anywhere in the country can participate!  The more funds we raise the greater the impact we’ll make on our students.

Houston-area students need your support today more than ever. Help us reach our goal by making a donation or  by registering for our Virtual Walk.
