2019 Walk/Run for Education - Milwaukee | UNCF

2019 Walk/Run for Education – Milwaukee

Milwaukee’s annual UNCF Walk/Run for Education has become an anticipated family-oriented 5K (3.1 mile) walk and certified run for corporate employees, donors, volunteers and friends. This fundraising event was formed to raise funds for UNCF students in the form of scholarships and services. UNCF students attend more than 1,100 colleges and universities. UNCF also supports 37 historically black colleges and universities.

The race ends at Veterans Park on the lakefront, where the fun keeps going. Each year, there is a reunion atmosphere as the children enjoy activities just for them, entertainment for everyone and of course, awards for the runners and participating groups. A mini health fair will be in progress, and everyone enjoys the great picnic in the park.
