2019 Walk for Education - Chicago | UNCF

2019 Walk for Education – Chicago

Early registration is closed; come at 7 a.m. and sign up the day of the walk!

The 36th UNCF Chicago 5K Walk/Fun Run/10K Bike/Skate for Education is a broad-based community fundraising event to support deserving students with the financial assistance needed to reach their goals of going to and through college. Participants can choose to walk, run, bike or skate.  Please note that children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult.

There are many ways you can participate:

For 75 years, UNCF has provided financial and technical assistance to our 37 member HBCUs. Without UNCF’s support, many of the students at these HBCUs would not have access to higher education or the benefits that it provides. Ask your friends, family and co-workers to sponsor your walk. Your participation in the Walk for Education and the money you raise supports more than 60,000 students a year, builds a more diverse workforce, and strengthens our community.

Please note that a donation to the walk is not a registration—all participants must pre-register online or register on-site.
