The Norman C. Francis Teacher Residency (NCFTR) at Xavier University of Louisiana [a UNCF-member institution] is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for education and a desire to learn and grow for their residency program. The Residency is a first-of-its-kind partnership not only in New Orleans, but nationally.
You will pursue a Master’s degree while receiving on-the-job development from a mentor teacher at their school.
NCFTR's mission is to develop exceptional educators who want to make this work their career. The group combines the proven methods of Xavier University of Louisiana’s Master’s Degree program with mentorship and on-the-job coaching to ensure Residents are equipped to support students’ success in school and in life.
