UNCF and BET Networks have joined forces to present UNCF An Evening of Stars® Educating our Future Presented by Target, a nationally televised two-hour variety special that makes the case for supporting UNCF to invest in better futures through education for African American students. January 2013 will mark the UNCF program's 34th annual broadcast, and BET has brought to the program the innovative and dynamic production values that are its hallmark.
 
UNCF and BET bring to the UNCF An Evening of Stars® stage some of the biggest names in entertainment, education, politics and sports, who share the spotlight with rising stars, students who, with UNCF support, are building their lives and achieving their dreams through education.  Entertainers and celebrities introduce stories of these rising stars, young people from pre-school children to graduating college seniors who have made the commitment to get the college education they need and the 21st century economy demands. Headliners and students alike both entertain UNCF An Evening of Stars® Presented by Target audience and remind viewers that it is only with their help and support that today's students can become tomorrow's leaders. 

This exciting edition of UNCF An Evening of Stars® lives up to its name as an evening of stars and an evening of helping others, of investing in better futures for young people through education.
