Job Title:   Budget Manager

Description:  This position is responsible for managing operational aspects of the budget process to optimize financial performance. This includes analyzing ROI, diagnosing issues, identifying opportunities, executing corrections and streamlining financial and operational areas to achieve financial performance. Major activities coordinated by this position include the annual budget and budget modification, forecasts, financial statement analysis and interpretation and distilling financial and other information into remedial action plans. Job Title:   Development Director--Houston Area Office

Description:  The Development Director assists the Area Development Director (ADD) in the implementation of action plans developed with the national office; reaches fundraising targets to support the thirty-seven (37) UNCF member institutions and serves as an ambassador for UNCF, by engaging donors and leveraging relationships to meet revenue goals. The Development Director submits solicitations and conducts other fundraising activities to maintain a high level of public awareness, regarding the importance of philanthropic donations, to support and further the mission of the organization.

Job Title:   Director of Communications

Description:  The Director of Communications is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the organization's communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. The Director oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for UNCF area offices in the area of communications and public relations, including social media. The Director also directs the efforts of the communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization.

This position has primary working relationships with the senior management team, staff of the Communications/P.R. function, and the UNCF area offices. Outside the organization, the position coordinates, primarily, with the media.
