Job Title:   Director, Science Initiatives

Description:  The Director is responsible for the design, development, delivery and administrative oversight of the UNCF MERCK Science Initiative Strategy and STEM related programs. The MERCK program is responsible for cultivating the training and development of biological and chemical science and engineering students at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels through financial support, hands-on internship and mentoring programs, while the STEM initiative is aimed at getting more students of color into and through college with a major in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and establishing and growing a network of industry partners. As the leading authority, the Director will interact with the UNCF/Merck Fellows, donors, institutions and UNCF staff to execute the program.
