Scholarship Detail:

The employees of the Columbus City Schools (OH) are pleased to announce a partnership between UNCF and Columbus City Schools to widen the net of student scholars from Columbus, OH. Student applicants for this program must be current high school seniors or graduates of Columbus (OH) City Schools.

Applicants must have all the required documents listed below in order to be fully considered this program:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Unmet financial need (as verified by the college or university)
  • Be a graduate (or class of 2013 graduate) of Columbus City Schools
  • Submit a transcript, essay and one letter of recommendation
  • For graduating seniors only: proof of college acceptance

Selected recipients will receieve a one time award up to $2,000 for the 2013-14 academic year.
