When it comes to higher education for promising scholars, we don't want anything to stand in the way. That's why Google is proud to support the work of UNCF. Google is committed to helping the innovators of the future make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and retreats for students pursuing a computer science or computer engineering degree or a degree in a closely related field with a high volume of computer science related courses.
Selected students will each receive a $10,000 scholarship ($5,000 for Canadian recipients) for the 2013-14 academic year, and be invited to attend the all-expenses paid Annual Google Scholars' Retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, California in 2013.
In order to apply, students must meet the above criteria while maintaining a record of strong academic performance. (UNCF requires a minimum 2.5 GPA for students applying to any UNCF administered scholarship program) Students must also be enrolled at a 4-year college/university in the fall 2013 to receive the scholarship.
