Scholarship Detail:

Applicants must be male students majoring in one of the following fields: Engineering , Chemistry, Physics or Mathematical Sciences. In addition, applicants must be U.S. citizens and be applying to or accepted at an accredited college (excluding proprietary schools) in the United States.

Graduate Students must posses a 3.0 average and are eligible for an award of $3000.

NAACP membership and participation is desirable. A copy of evidence of NAACP membership must be uploaded to the application.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need based on the following family income scale:

For scholarship award consideration, applicants are required to submit the following documents to the online application:

1. Two letters of recommendations,

2. One page essay,

3. Recent official transcript,

4. Evidence of full time enrollment,

5. A copy of evidence of NAACP membership.

6. For income verification, Student Aid Report (SAR)

Undergraduate applicant must be a full-time student. If a student drops below the required full-time status, the Scholarship Selection Committee will adjust the grant received to 50% of the award allocated for that semester. Graduate applicant may be a full or part-time student.
