Scholarship Detail:

LMI Scholarship Program was established in 2012 by LMI Aerospace, Inc. in partnership with UNCF. The program is designed to help reduce financial barriers and help increase access to higher education for students attending at a four year accredited college/university.

Eligible applicants for the LMI Scholarship Program must:

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be majoring in the following Engineering fields: Aerospace, Design Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Be rising college sophomore, junior or senior by the time of application.

In addition, applicants must complete the online application for the LMI Scholarship Program and upload their recent official transcript, resume, letter of recommendation and essay by the application deadline, April 30, 2012. For details please go to each section of the application.

The selected students will receive a one time, need based scholarship award of $5000. The awards will be made in the fall 2012 and scholarship checks will be sent to the students' attending intuitions for credit to their accounts.

LMI Aerospace Inc., headquartered in St. Charles, MO, is a leading provider of design engineering services, structural assemblies, kits and components to the aerospace, defense and technology industries.
