Scholarship Detail:

The Jay Charles Levine Scholarship will provide a $3,000 tuition scholarship and a $200 book scholarship for graduates of the 3 target high schools in the Detroit Public Schools System. Students from Kettering, Southeastern, Detroit High School for the Fine and Performing Arts and any other Detroit Public High School are welcome to apply for this opportunity if they have attended one of these schools for at least 6 semesters. Applicants must be a resident of Detroit, Michigan with at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, a minimum SAT score of 800 out of 1600 (Critical Reading and Mathmatics) and must be admitted to a UNCF member school as a full-time student.

Student must provide 2 letters of recommendation of which one must be written by an instuctor who can speak to the applicant's academic rigor.
