For more than 70 years, UNCF, the nation's largest and most effective minority education organization, has provided financial support to ensure that our students can succeed and that UNCF-member institutions continue to keep moving forward toward the pursuit of educational excellence. For more than 25 years, the Los Angeles office of UNCF and the Los Angeles Inter-Alumni Council (LAIAC) have come together to present the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Breakfast to support scholarships for students from the Los Angeles Area and to support UNCF-member institutions.
The 26th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Breakfast will take place on Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Proud Bird, 11022 Aviation Boulevard, Los Angeles and will attract an audience of more than 900 including public and private sector leaders in business, education and community organizations. The UNCF King Day Breakfast is part of "United We Serve," the President's national call-to-service initiative.
