Paul Quinn College Paul Quinn College is a private, liberal arts institution and the oldest historically black college west of the Mississippi River. Paul Quinn College was founded by a small group of African Methodist Episcopal circuit-riding preachers in 1872. Today, Paul Quinn’s faculty and staff are a diverse group of exceptional Christian scholars and teachers committed to preparing students to become the leaders of tomorrow.
