Paine College Eliminates Student Debt
In a bold move to remove barriers to higher education and increase degree completion, Paine College has announced the elimination of outstanding institutional student debt for former students, creating a pathway for hundreds of former Paine Lions to return and complete their degrees.
The initiative, authorized by Paine College President Dr. Lester A. McCorn, forgives unpaid balances owed directly to the College, allowing eligible former students to re-enroll without the burden of institutional debt.
“This initiative reflects who we are as an institution,” said Dr. McCorn. “Paine College has always believed in the transformative power of education. Today, we are reaffirming that belief by removing a significant obstacle that has kept too many of our students from completing the degrees they worked so hard to pursue.” >>Read More
