Scholarship Detail:
The 2009 Avis Budget Group Summer Intersnhip Program will start the day after Memorial Day and will run approximately 10-12 weeks. The summer program is a paid internship that will be hosted at the corporate headquarters in Parsipanny, NJ. Interns will be responsible for thier transportation and housing arrangements. Interns must be available to work full-time thorughout the entire length of the internship program. Interns will also receive a $5,000 scholarship. During the program, interns will be provided with a challenging, educational and reewarding experience that includes but not limited to assisting in the day to day operations of the assigned department, working on department projects, attending development workshops and "lunch n learns" with senior leadership team and participating in company sponsored/team building events. Each student will be paired with a mentor to enhance his or her personal and professional development. This opportunity is ONLY available for students who are classified as a sophomore, junior or MBA student.
