Fall 2010 Monograph on Early Childhood Education of Rural African Americans and Other Children of Color
UNCF received funding from Pew Charitable Trust to publish a monograph that describes the current state of early childhood education in rural communities with a special focus on African American children. The monograph will include chapters that address issues such as: multicultural curriculum use in early childhood programs, data on disparities for children living in rural communities, child care usage among families, among many others. |
Fall 2010 Statistical Report on UNCF Member Institutions
The UNCF Statistical Report highlights important trends among UNCF member institutions on key measures including enrollment, institutional capacity, and student persistence. The 2010 edition spotlights best practices implemented across the network in various content areas. |
March 29-31, UNCF Convenes Meeting of Institutional Researchers from UNCF Member Institutions
On March 29-31, 2010, FDPRI collaborated with the Association for Institutional Researchers to host a Learning Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. The meeting focused on learning about the latest tools from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), the accreditation processes of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), reviewing results from the Mellon assessment and deepening our knowledge of resources that exist across our network. Each year FDPRI plans to host meetings that target institutional research officers and other key staff at HBCUs. |
