| Description: | Tune in to watch UNCF's An Evening of Stars airing in Dallas/ Fort Worth on January 27th at 9pm -midnight on TXA Channel 21 and 10:35pm-1:35am on KLTV Channel 7 in Tyler, Texas. This year’s program features concert performances and presentations by the entertainment industry’s top talent including: Nancy Wison, Natalie Cole, Joss Stone, Ruben Studdard, Bebe Winans, Mary Mary, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Michael Bolton and Stevie Wonder and many more! Lou Rawls is credited with originating the idea for the TV event in 1979 and helping UNCF raise more than $200 million. An Evening of Stars program is the largest televised fundraiser benefiting minority education. |
