U.S. House passes commemorative coin bill to benefit UNCF
The U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation recently approving a commemorative coin to be minted and issued recognizing the upcoming 50th anniversary of the passage of the civil rights bill in 2014. Proceeds are slated to support UNCF.



PepsiCo Supports UNCF with $1M Gift
During UNCF's 64th anniversary celebration in New York, PepsiCo announced a $1 million donation to support the organization.


New Science and Tech Workforce Program Launched
With help from Computer Sciences Corporation, UNCF has launched a new science, technology, mathematics and engineering program to help U.S. employers find qualified STEM college graduates.

UNCF unveiled a brand new image, complete with new logo, Jan. 17, in Atlanta at UNCF-member Spelman College. UNCF's new look quickly spread across the country, appearing in well-recognized places such as New York City's Times Square.
