ABOUT “A MIND IS…”® GALA
The “A Mind Is…”® Gala recognizes the extraordinary work of corporations, individuals, and HBCU faculty who have significantly contributed to UNCF’s work to improve the educational outcomes of African American and other minority students who deserve a quality, affordable college education.
In 2024, UNCF will celebrate 80 years of Black Excellence, community, and student support, and education advocacy. As we celebrate this magnificent milestone, UNCF San Francisco cordially invites you to the 2024 “A Mind Is… Gala”! In celebration of education and workforce equity, UNCF San Francisco “A Mind Is…” Gala presents an exclusive cross-generational experience.
The formal black-tie event includes a live red carpet, UNCF Lounge 80 (pre-dinner cocktail hour), a 4-course dinner, an interactive program, live professional entertainment, and dancing. The AMI Gala is supported by a diverse group of corporate sponsors, civic leaders, community partners, HBCU alums, and local individuals who are local champions and support UNCF’s mission of investing in America’s future by getting students to and through college.
